germany green eagle golf courses north course The Green Eagle Golf Courses, located in Winsen (Luhe) near Hamburg, Germany, is a 186-hectare golf complex offering three distinct courses catering to all skill levels The North Course, opened in 2008, is renowned for its impressive length of 7,057 meters from the black tees, making it one of the longest courses in Europe and a significant challenge for experienced golfers This course has hosted several prestigious tournaments, including the European Open since 2017 The South Course, opened in 1999, features a parkland-style design with natural water features and mature vegetation, providing an enjoyable playing experience for golfers of all abilities A public six-hole Par 3 Course is also available for beginners and those looking to improve their short game The club is developing a new West Course with the ambition of hosting the Ryder Cup in 2035 Facilities also include an extensive practice area, a well-stocked pro shop, and the BEAVERS restaurant, offering fine dining with views over the course
